Protekt It! Quick and easy to use.

Needing little to no surface preparation and with no primer required, not only will this hammer paint save time and effort, it is ideal for use on farm buildings and agricultural implements, trailers, railings, gates, garden furniture, BBQs, drain covers, metal groundworks, inside of guttering & drains, structural steel elements and so many other applications. Subject to climatic conditions, Protekt It! is quick drying and generally touch dry within an hour. A1006 Protekt It! provides a tough, resilient coating that is water resistant and anti-corrosive and can even be applied over lightly rusting surfaces. This terrifically robust paint contains aluminium flake and silicone resin for enhanced water shedding properties; great for protecting outdoor metal surfaces as well as improving their overall presentation.

Painting Protekt It! onto previously painted surfaces. Always paint a small test quantity of Protekt It! onto the surface to be treated and leave to dry. If you see any defects to the painted surface, remove all the original paint from the test area with UTR112 Thinners (available from stock) before painting the surface with A1006 Protekt It!

Painting directly onto rusty metal surfaces. A1006 Protekt It! is specially formulated to be applied directly onto rusty surfaces with minimum preparation. If required, degrease as necessary and remove any loose rust with a wire brush or coarse sandpaper and clean the surface with UTR112 Thinners and allow time to dry. Apply Protekt It! directly onto the rusty metal surface with a minimum drying temperature of 6°C, avoiding application in damp or wet conditions. No primer or undercoat required. Not suitable for sustained periods of immersion.

Available in 1 Litre, 2.5 Litre and 5 Litre cans. Larger quantities available upon request. Trade and Retail enquiries welcome.
